In the story of The Monkey's Paw, I learned that the monkey paw had a curse that was put by an elderly man. When someone has the monkey paw, they have 3 wishes. Mr. White had a son that was 17 years old, and the father tried to use the 3 wishes. One of the wishes was to have 200 pounds. They thought it was in a good way, but the opposite happened. There are many reasons why I dislike and like this story. For example, I liked when Mr. White made his wishes and thought it would come true. The second reason why I dislike this story is because every time they made a wish something had to go bad to get the wish that they wanted.
