Daughter of Fortune by Isabel Allende was an okay book. If you enjoy historical fiction, specifically the colonial era, you will most likely enjoy this book. These are also the kinds of books I like, I just felt that the end of the book was very underwhelming. For the character to go through everything she went through, just for the book to end the way it did was honestly a bit disappointing.
