Macbeth is a tragedy and is written by William Shakespeare. It is about a brave general from Scotland named Macbeth and who wants to claim the throne for himself. He is then approached by these 3 witches who prophesied that Macbeth will be king of Scotland. After Macbeth receives this prophecy he starts to think about whether or not he should speed the process up and kill the current king. His wife starts to put thoughts into his head that he should kill the king and take the throne. After thinking so much he finally kills the king and takes the throne. He is then killed by a member of the king's family. That is the end of the great Scottish General Macbeth.
