The Black Witch by Laurie Forest is a wonderful book for people who are just beginning their journey with fantasy books. I particularly loved how the author builds the world in the book. It makes it easy to follow and understand the social construct and the way things are in this fantasy world, even if you aren't familiar with this type of genre. I also love the plot and how easy it is to connect those same struggles with real world problems.
