Body Paragraph

In the book “Born A Crime” by Trevor Noah, the author captivates the feeling of not having a sense of belonging anywhere. He points out the struggles of his childhood with identity and spoke of how his existence affected him and his upbringing in the society he lived in. Through his use of comedic commentary and first person point of view, he makes for a more engaging story. Noah does a great job of illustrating his relations with his family and pets, developing an emotional interest within the readers of his book. I learned about history and the prejudice people faced in South Africa at this time. It informed me about how racism still occurred within people from the same country. I enjoyed Noah’s way of writing since it grabbed my attention, making it easy to follow his fun stories and experiences.
