Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds is a novel that talks about the story of Will. Will is fifteen years old and he takes an elevator because of his brother’s death. The ghosts of people from his past visit him while in the ride sharing their own stories. The story is like a poetic explanation of consequences that are experienced when grieving for a loved one. This is a short book, but regardless, it’s great and I recommend it. This book has stayed with me for a long time and I really enjoyed reading it.
