Body Paragraph
One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus is a story where five high school students walk into detention, but only four survive. The story continues as the rest of the students become murder suspects. Each of them hiding something different. This book is an interesting mystery that keeps you guessing until the end. It talks about topics like self-identity and peer pressure. I found this relatable because I'm in high school, just like the people in the story. The feelings in the book are easy to understand and the characters way of speaking add depth to the story.
