Hispanic Heritage Month takes place from September 15th through October 15th, and we have many ways to celebrate here at the library.

For take and makes, each kit is available that whole week while supplies last. Children just need to show their card at the desk. On the week of September 20th, children ages 5-12 can come to the library to pick up a Snack Around the World box with a variety of snacks from Latin America. Then, on the week of September 27th, children ages 3-12 can pick up a kit to make their own Nazca Lines. Finally, On the week of October 11, children ages 5-12 can pick up a kit to Copy Torres-Garcia's art.

We have an in-person program on Tuesday, October 12th 6:30-7:30 for ages 6-12 to make Día de los Muertos Cat and Dog Drawings. Registration begins September 18th.

In addition to these programs, we also have wonderful books and movies available both in the library and online.
